Indian fashion designer Anamika Khanna was born in Jodhpur on July 19, 1971, and she works out of her studio in Kolkata. The Business of Fashion (BOF) has featured her as the Indian designer who combined Western style and tailoring with traditional Indian textiles and techniques. Anamika Khanna founded the first Indian fashion brand with the international “Ana mika” trademark.
