Born on November 25, 1988, Rochelle Rao is an Indian actress, model, and former winner of beauty pageants. She represented India in Miss International 2012 and won the title of Femina Miss India International.

Rochelle Rao Childhood
On November 25, 1988, in Chennai, Rochelle Rao was born. Her mother, Wendy Rao, is Anglo-Indian, and her father, Nicolas V. Rao, is a naturalist of Telugu-German descent. Paloma Rao, her sister, is an actor as well.
She graduated from MOP Vaishnav College for Women in Chennai with a Bachelor of Science in electronic media.

In January 2012, Rochelle Rao participated in the fifth Pantaloons Femina Miss India South pageant and placed first runner-up. Shamata Anchan won the title instead of her. Following that, she competed in Femina Miss India, winning the title of Femina Miss India International 2012. In addition, she has three subtitle wins. “Miss Glamorous Diva” , “Miss Ramp Walk” , “Miss Body Beautiful” . At the October 2012 Miss International 2012 pageant in Okinawa, Japan, she competed on behalf of India and placed ninth out of 68 nations.
Rochelle Rao Career
She was crowned the 2012 Femina Miss India International winner. She worked as a model and anchor in Chennai before this. Ankita Shorey, the reigning champion, bestowed the crown on Rochelle.
Later, she hosted the sixth season of the Indian Premier League. She has hosted a number of events and TV shows and is currently residing in Mumbai. She has also appeared in numerous publications for guys.

Rochelle made her Colours debut as a wild card entry in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6, which aired in August 2013. Despite her performance, she was not selected for the show.

Additionally, Rochelle Rao successfully hosted India’s Laughter Champion programme in August 2022. Beginning in April 2016, Rao has been a part of the comedy series The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV in a number of roles. Her final known appearance was as Rimpa in 1962: The War in the Hills.
