In the epic action movie Veer, Khan made her Bollywood debut as a princess in 2010. Later, she starred in the hit item number “Character Dheela” in the comedy Ready. On May 14, 1987, Zareen Khan was born in Mumbai, India, into a Pathan family. At Mumbai’s Rizvi College of Science, she finished her intermediate studies. 2010–2011: First movie and preliminary work

Khan’s acting career started when he went to Whistling Woods, the film school founded by Subhash Ghai, to see the set of Yuvvraaj . Sajid Khan’s comedy film Housefull 2, a Hindi version of the Malayalam film Mattupetti Machan and a follow-up to Housefull, was released as Khan’s second feature. The film centres on the love triangle between two cousins, Henna and Bobby, the two daughters of the Kapoor family who despise one another, a model named JLo, Jolly, the son of Jagga Daku, and her four best friends, Sunny, Max, Jolly, and Jai. In the film, Khan portrayed JLo, a model enamoured of Ritesh Deshmukh’s Jolly, with Jacqueline Fernandez, Asin, John Abraham, and Akshay Kumar rounding out the group.

2014–present: Transition to leadership positions

In 2014, Khan made her Bollywood debut in the Punjabi film Jatt James Bond, directed by Rohit Jugraj. Together with Gippy Grewal, she played the naive Punjabi housewife Lalli. Critics gave the movie good reviews, praising her performance in particular. Komal Nahta, a film critic, stated: “Zarine Khan gives a performance worthy of an award. She is remarkable and embodies the character of Lalli, adding a brilliant touch to every scene in which she appears.”

Khan played Siya in the sensual thriller Hate Story 3, which debuted in 2015. The movie was a commercial hit and increased Khan’s notoriety. Next, she starred alongside Ali Fazal in the music video for “Pyaar Manga Hai”. Neeti Mohan and Armaan Malik sang the song. Khan performed a scene for the movie Veerappan in 2016.
