In the 2001 biographical picture Veer Savarkar, Rohitashv Gour made his screen debut in Bollywood. Rohitashv Gour has performed in 11 Bollywood films to far, but the majority of them have been in relatively small parts, such as the police officer in Kya Kehna’s college play. In the SAB TV sitcom Lapataganj – Sharad Joshi Ki Kahaniyon Ka Pata, he played Mukundilal Gupta. His second movie, Pratha (2002), starred Irrfan Khan. After that, he acted in the 2003 movie Pinjar, as the brother of Manoj Bajpai, the main character. In the same year, he appeared in two additional films: Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., in which he played the part of nariyal pani waala (a vendor of coconut water), and Dhoop, which was directed by Ashwini Chaudhary, winner of the National Award. He starred in the 2005 movie Matrubhoomi – A Nation Without Women after a one-year hiatus.

One more year later, in 2008, he had an appearance in the comedy One Two Three. (an uncredited reimagining of Blame it on the Bellboy) and the highly regarded A Wednesday!, in which he played the imaginary terrorist Ikhlaque Ahmed. In the 2010 motion picture Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?, he played the part of a bank manager. In 2014, PK, in which he portrayed Pandey Ji, a police policeman, was his most recent release.
