Indian Bollywood actor Manjot Singh was born on 7 July 1992, and is most known for his work in the films Fukrey, Student of the Year, and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. Manjot Singh was named the winner of the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his work in Oye Lucky! Good fortune, Oye.

Manjot Singh was born into a Punjabi Sikh household in New Delhi. His father is a businessman, and his mother stays at home. He finished his education at the New Delhi-based Hillwoods Academy.
Manjot Singh Career
Singh had never performed on stage, not even in school productions, but he went to the audition for Dibakar Banerjee’s Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. Following the audition, Singh was passed over for the part of Lucky, the young burglar who becomes a master thief. He was eventually cast, despite Dibakar Banerjee’s insistence on it, noting afterwards, “Even though the casting director wasn’t convinced, I just put my foot down.”

Following his selection, Singh attended a week-long acting course in Manali. In order to mimic Abhay Deol’s movements, smiles, and speech, he was instructed to see how the actor did these things.
