Indian singer Kinjal Dave was born on November 24, 1998, and is well-known for her contributions to the Gujarati music scene. Kinjal started singing at a young age and became well-known in 2017 when she released the blockbuster song “Char Bangdi Vali Gadi”. Dave was born on November 24, 1998 into an Advaita Brahmin family in the Gujarati village of Jesangpara, which is close to Patan.
Her Gujarati song “Jonadiyo” marked her musical debut. Dave became well-known after her 2016 hit song “Chaar Chaar Bangadiwali Gadi” went viral. Australian Gujarati musician Kartik Patel, better known by his stage name Kathiyawadi King, and Red Ribbon Entertainment filed a lawsuit against her, her publisher RDC Media, and her studio Saraswati Studio for copyright infringement. Patel asserted that the song is a bare-bones replica of his original composition. His song was posted on YouTube three months before to Dave’s song’s debut. Dave asserted that Manubhai Rabari wrote the song originally in 2014.

The Ahmedabad Commercial Court barred Dave from using the music in January 2019 until the matter was settled.A month later, the Gujarat High Court lifted this restriction The Ahmedabad Commercial Court dismissed the complaint in April 2019 due to a jurisdictional issue. The Ahmedabad Civil Court issued a new copyright infringement notice in September 2019. Dave is the only one fighting the case after his publishers, RDC Media and Saraswati Studio, acknowledged the copyright infringement and consented to take the song down from their sites.
Chaar Chaar Bangdi Vali Gadi, Ame Gujarati Leri Lala, Chote Raja, Ghate Toh Ghate Zindagi, Jay Adhyashakti Aarti, Dhan Che Gujarat, and Makhan Chor are some of her other Gujarati songs. The 2018 Gujarati film Dada Ho Dikri marked her acting debut. Kinjal Dave joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the year 2019.

At the 12th Gauravvanta Gujarati Awards in 2019, she was presented with the Gauravshali Gujarati Award. Kinjal Dave was awarded the Feelings Pride of India Award in the music category in 2020.
