In February 2015, Gill signed on to work with Gauahar Khan on a Punjabi film called Oh Yaara Ainvayi Ainvayi Lut Gaya, which was her first feature film. Alongside Neeru Bajwa, he also starred in Channo Kamli Yaar Di.
Together with Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty, and Jimmy Sheirgill, he made his feature film debut in Hindi with the 2018 film Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. It was made available on August 24, 2018.
