Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw was born on November 9, 1999, and has represented his country in all formats of the game. Prithvi Shaw is a player for the Delhi Capitals and Mumbai in domestic cricket. The Indian squad won the 2018 Under-19 World Cup while he was captain.

Shaw, a right-handed opener, made his debut for his country on October 4, 2018, at the age of 18. Prithvi Pankaj Shaw was the youngest Indian to score a century in a Test match and the second-youngest Indian overall, behind Sachin Tendulkar.

On January 1, 2017, Shaw made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy semifinals for the 2016–17 season. Prithvi Pankaj Shaw was named man of the match after hitting a century in the second inning. Dadabhoy Havewala’s 515 in 1933 was the best score ever achieved by an Indian in any kind of officially recognised competitive cricket. Before he was caught and bowled, Shaw hit 85 fours and five sixes in his six hours and seven minute innings. After dismissing their opponents, St Francis d’Assisi, for 93 runs, Rizvi amassed 991 runs.

The fact that Tendulkar, who had reached 326 in the same competition in 1988, had officially retired from international cricket just four days prior to the innings garnered a great deal of media attention. Shaw was added to India’s Test team for the last two Test matches against England in August 2018, although he did not see action. Prithvi Pankaj Shaw was included in the Indian Test team for their September 2018 series against the West Indies. On October 4, 2018, Shaw played his first Test match against the West Indies.

Prithvi Pankaj Shaw was included in India’s Twenty20 International (T20I) and One Day International (ODI) teams for their series against Sri Lanka in June 2021. In the opening One-Day International of the three-match series, he scored 43 runs off 24 balls. On July 25, 2021, he played his first T20I match for India against Sri Lanka.

Shaw was called up to the Indian Test squad for their series in July 2021, however he did not play against England.
