Anmol Malik Early In One’s Career
Malik returned to India after earning his degree from the University of Warwick and took a job at Disney UTV’s Creative Development division. Malik worked as an assistant director for a while under Rohan Sippy before joining Leo Burnett Worldwide in India as a junior copywriter and contributing to the Tide (brand) campaign for the South Asian market. She finally rose to the position of Head of Script Department at Yash Raj Pictures, where she contributed to films like Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Mardaani.

Malik debuted as a writer in 2020 when HarperCollins released her novel Three Impossible Wishes . Actor Ayushmann Khurrana applauded the young-adult romantic comedy book, calling it “Totally cheeky, completely hilarious, and endlessly charming.” A favourable review on Scroll.In describes the novel as “A breezy campus romance that is a reminder of a life that college students are missing in the lockdown.”[Reference required]

Anmol Malik has authored multiple micro-fiction pieces under her pen name for Terribly Tiny Tales, a well-known storytelling site with over 12 million readers. She received an invitation to contribute two short stories to their third book, With Love, which Penguin Books published in 2019.
Malik was selected to write for the Amazon Kindle platform when her works, Audrey & Adam and Things You Learn in a Different City, made it onto the Amazon Best Reads list.
Malik created The Visitor for Bound India’s Jotted platform, which is a sample from a longer work that has caught admirers’ attention. Additionally, she appeared as a guest on the episode “Writing Genre-Bending Romantic Comedies” of their podcast Books And Beyond.
Additionally, she has written for a number of magazines, such as Elle India, Mansworld, Harper’s Bazaar, Alone Together, and In Defence Of “I’m Too Busy” . Anmol Malik received an invitation to participate in a session called Impossible Secrets: Coming of Age Stories For Young Adults at the Chandigarh Literature Festival in November.
