Born on December 31, 1989, Sathyapriya Bhavani Shankar, also professionally known as Priya Bhavani Shankar,[a] is an Indian actress and former television presenter who mostly works in Tamil films, with a small amount of Telugu films as well. Meyaadha Maan (2017), a commercially successful Tamil film, marked her acting debut.

Priya originally became well-known for her work as a newscaster for Puthiya Thalaimurai, a Tamil news station. Priya Bhavani Shankar also performed in the serial drama Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai on Star Vijay Television. She starred with Vaibhav in the movie Meyaadha Maan in 2017, for which she received a SIIMA Award nomination for Best Female Debutant.

Priya costarred with Karthi in Kadaikutty Singam the following year. She costarred with S. J. Suryah in the 2019 film Monster. She costarred with Arun Vijay in the action film Mafia: Chapter 1 in 2020. Priya Bhavani Shankar also had an appearance in the web series Time Enna Boss!? on Amazon Prime. She acted in the multi-starrer films Kasada Thapara and Kalathil Sandhippom in 2021.
