Sharma made a little appearance in the 2006 American film Turn Left to launch her acting career. She debuted in Bollywood in the movie From Sydney with Love (2012) as Lubaina Snyder.
Evelyn Sharma appeared in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani the following year, and both Issaq and Nautanki Saala! appreciated her performance. She portrayed Janet D’souza in the sleeper success Yaariyan in 2014.
