Dayanand Model Senior Secondary School in Jalandhar is where he completed his early education. He is good friends with both actor Vinay Pathak and actor and director Rajat Kapoor. After dating Pooja Bhatt in the past, actor Ranvir Shorey wed actress Konkona Sen Sharma on September 3, 2010.
The pair reportedly exchanged vows in a private ceremony at their Goregaon home after being engaged in 2008. According to The Times of India, on March 15, 2011, in a hospital in South Mumbai, his wife Konkona gave birth to their first kid, Haroon. After being married for five years, the pair later divorced. They still maintain their friendship and split their son’s custody.
