Born on September 10, 1982, Karan Mehra is an Indian model, fashion designer, and television actor . Karan Mehra gained recognition for playing the title character Naitik Singhania in one of the longest-running Indian television serials, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Karan Mehra Childhood
In a Punjabi household, Mehra was born on September 10, 1982, in Jalandhar, Punjab.In his early years, his family relocated to Delhi. Mehra attended Apeejay School in Noida and the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Delhi, where she studied fashion design. Karan Mehra graduated from college as the highest student in his class. Mehra was employed by Domino’s Pizza as a summer trainee following his 12th grade year.

After moving to Mumbai, Mehra began assisting filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani and Ram Gopal Verma on four films. After that, he starred in Love Story 2050. He then began performing TV commercials and modelling. While undergoing acting training in 2009, he was cast in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Naitik Singhania.
The show gave him a huge break, and he stayed on it for almost seven and a half years until June 2016, at which point he left due to health concerns. In addition, he and his wife Nisha Rawal took part in the dance reality series Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati in 2012–2013.

Karan Mehra Domestic Conflict
Rawal appeared at Mumbai’s Goregaon police station on May 31, 2021, bleeding from his forehead, and filed a domestic abuse case against Mehra. After that, Mehra was taken into custody and later freed on bond. Subsequently, Rawal stated that during his absence for a Chandigarh filming, Mehra had confessed to having an illicit affair with a girl from Delhi. Following the incident in August 2021, a divorce has been filed , and as of October 2022, the couple is no longer together.
