Dheeraj Dhoopar is well renowned for playing the roles of Karan Luthra in Kundali Bhagya and Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka, for which he won multiple honors, including the Indian Television Academy honors for Best Actor Male (Popular) and Gold Awards.

On December 20, 1984, Sushil Dhoopar gave birth to Dhoopar. On November 16, 2016, he wed the actress Vinny Arora in Delhi. On the set of Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, they initially got together. They said they were expecting their first child in April 2022. The couple gave birth to a boy on August 10, 2022, as their first child.
Dheeraj Dhoopar Career
Dhoopar began his professional life as a model, appearing in more than a hundred advertisements for companies such as Maruti Suzuki, Parker, Dabur Honey, Samsung Galaxy, and Videocon Mobile. Dhoopar completed an advanced course in fashion design and worked as a member of airline cabin crew prior to pursuing a career in acting.

In Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, Dhoopar made his television debut in the role of Ansh. In addition, he portrayed Shikhar in Zindagi Kahe – Smile Please, Sushant in Mrs. Tendulkar, and Bhavesh Patel in Star Plus’s Behenein. Additionally, he had a brief cameo in the Sony TV series Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.
He played Prem Bhardwaj opposite Dipika Kakar in Colors TV’s Sasural Simar Ka from 2013 till 2017. Dheeraj Dhoopar was also the host of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s grand finale. He portrayed Karan Luthra, the lead character, alongside Shraddha Arya in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya for five years, from July 12, 2017, to June 9, 2022. Dheeraj Dhoopar hosted Dance India Dance 7 as well in 2019 before stepping down. 2020 saw Dhoopar appear in Naagin 5 in a cameo as Shakura and Cheel Akesh, respectively, opposite Hina Khan.
Dhoopar left Kundali in June 2022 in order to take a paternity leave. Dhoopar declared in July 2022 that he will be taking part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, but he left the show in Week 4 due to personal and health problems. He starred opposite Surbhi Chandna as Rajkumar Yadav in Colors TV’s Sherdil Shergill from September 2022 to February 2023.
