Ankit Mohan wed his co-star Ruchi Savarn, an Indian television actress, on December 2, 2015; the two met on the sets of Ghar Aaja Pardesi. The couple made their first kid announcement in September 2021. The pair welcomed a boy into the world on December 7, 2021.

In MTV Roadies’ fourth season, Ankit Mohan made his screen debut. Ankit starred in Mausam, directed by Pankaj Kapoor, as Air Force officer Ashfaq Hussain. Out of more than eight hundred candidates, he was chosen to play Shahid Kapoor’s closest friend. He has made appearances in numerous Hindi TV series, including Shobha Somnath Ki, Basera, and Ghar Aaja Pardesi.
Additionally, he starred as Ashwathama in Star Plus’s Mahabharat and as Aakash in Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV. In the highly successful Marathi film Farzand (2018), Mohan portrayed the titular role of the renowned Maratha warrior Kondaji Farzand.
Up till 2016, Mohan played Aakash in the television series Kumkum Bhagya. He appeared in the television series Naagin 3 as Yuvi. He first departed after 7-8 because Vishakha Anita Hassanandani was depicted as having slain him. He made a second appearance on the show in December 2018 as the shape-shifting serpent son of Sumitra Rakshanda Khan, the Nidhogsh Vansh Queen. In 2019, Bela Surbhi Jyoti and Vishakha Anita Hassanandani were seen killing him. In the end, he departed the position in April 2019. His most recent role was opposite Megha Chakraborty as the male lead, Vikram, in Sony Sab’s Kaatelal & Sons.
