Born on May 11, 1976, Amrinder Singh Gill is an Indian actor, singer, songwriter, and film producer who specialises in Punjabi-language films and music. He received seven PTC Punjabi Film Awards, including three for Best Actor and two for Best Playback singer, after being nominated for twenty-four times.

In addition, he received five Filmfare Award nominations, winning two each for Best Playback singer and Best Actor, among other honours.

In 2009, he made his acting debut in a supporting role alongside Jimmy Shergill and Neeru Bajwa in the Punjabi film Munde UK De, directed by Manmohan Singh. In the movie, he took Harbhajan Mann’s seat. Amrinder Gill studied acting at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai prior to making his stage debut.
