Indian model and actress Sukirti Kandpal makes appearances on Hindi television. In 2007, she made her acting debut in the youth programme Jersey No 10 on Sab TV. After starring as Dr. Riddhima Gupta in Dill Mill Gayye (2008–2009) and Piya Dobriyal in the romantic thriller Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani (2010–11), Kandpal gained notoriety. In 2014, she also took part in the Bigg Boss 8 reality show on Colours TV.
Her other noteworthy roles are Debjani Thakur in Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls (2015) and Simran Khanna in Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai… Ajab Sa Risk Hai (2013–14). as well as in Story 9 Months Ki (2020–2021) as businesswoman Alia Shroff. Sukirti Kandpal Life And Education
Kandpal was born in Nainital, Uttarakhand, to B.D. and Manju Kandpal (the latter being the Deputy Advocate General of the Uttarakhand High Court and a former President of the Uttarakhand Bar Association). She has two siblings: Manjul Kandpal, her younger brother, and Bhavna Kandpal, her older sister. She was a student at Nainital’s St. Mary’s Convent High School.
Kandpal’s father was a public prosecutor, hence her initial goal was to become a lawyer. She graduated from Sophia College for Women in Mumbai with honours in economics. In her early career, she dated Manavendra Singh Shekhawat, but they broke up later.

Dill Mill and the beginning of a career In 2007, Gayye Kandpal made her television debut on Sab TV’s Jersey No. 10, an Indian translation of the American series One Tree Hill. At a coffee shop, she was approached by a creative director from Cinevistaas Limited, who asked her to meet with him later for an audition. She also made appearances in a number of episodes of Star One’s Indian horror thriller television anthology series Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai the same year.
She took Shilpa Anand’s place as Dr. Riddhima Gupta in the medical romance comedy Dill Mill Gayye in 2008. She left in 2009 after ten months of employment there.

2010–2015: Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and Bigg Boss made history
She made her film debut in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo in 2010 as Siddheshwari Singh. She took part in Meethi Choori No. 1, a reality show on Imagine TV, in June 2010. Later in October 2010, she portrayed Piya Dobriyal and Princess Maithili in the supernatural romance Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, a film by Balaji Telefilms. The show was the first youth-focused supernatural series in India, drawing inspiration from Twilight Saga and The Vampire Diaries. The final episode of the show, which debuted on December 15, 2011, made her well-known and well-liked.

She and Saroj Khan took part in another Imagine TV reality show, Nachle Ve, that same year.
After taking a sabbatical, Kandpal resumed acting in Rab Se Sona Ishq in 2012 as NRI Jazz. In the Hum Ne Li Hai… Shapath episode of Life OK’s series Mystery of Clones, she played four characters with the identical visage.He afterwards made a second appearance in an episode where he was a member of a group of criminals who broke out of jail to exact revenge on the Shapath team. In the crime-based television series Gumrah: End of Innocence on Channel V, she co-hosted a special episode on the harassment of girls. Later, she appeared in an episode about the repercussions of an open relationship as a college student.
She played the lead in the Life OK television series Kaisa Ye Ishq Hai..ajab sa danger hai in 2013. She was a contestant on Bigg Boss 8 in 2014, when she made it through two weeks before being kicked out on day 14.
She portrayed journalist Debjani Thakur in the 2015 TV adaption of Anuja Chauhan’s book Those Pricey Thakur Gurls, Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls on &TV.
From 2016 till now:
Kandpal made her television debut as the lead in the “Grahan” episode of &TV’s horror fiction series Darr Sabko Lagta Hai in early 2016, costarring with Gaurav Khanna. She subsequently portrayed Rajjo, a Haryanvi girl, in Zed TV’s Tashan-E-Ishq
She served as a celebrity host for the web series Desi Explorers, which focused on travel and had two spinoffs: Desi Explorers Jordan and Desi Explorers Taiwan. 2017 saw her make a comeback to a fictional TV show as Naina Yug Choudhary in season 2 of Zed TV’s Kaala Teeka.

Swaraj is a docudrama series based on the brave stories of over 550 Indian liberation fighters. In StarPlus’s Anupamaa, she has been starring as Shruti Ahuja opposite photographer Gaurav Khanna from December 2023.
