Born on June 17, 1976, Sona Mohapatra is an Indian singer, songwriter, and music composer. Apart from her own tracks, Mohapatra has also done remixes of songs by INXS (with “Afterglow”) and David Bowie (with “Let’s Dance”). The latter song has been particularly popular.

Sona received her BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar. Sona Mohapatra also graduated with a marketing and systems MBA from the Symbiosis Centre for Management & HRD in Pune.
