Indian actor Rohit Purohit performs in Hindi television. In 2009, he made his acting debut as Chitwan in Shaurya Aur Suhani. Purohit’s most well-known roles include those of Dr. Vikrant Saxena in Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii, Advait in Udaariyaan, Ranvijay Shroff in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, Malik Altunia in Razia Sultan, and Alexander in Porus. He has been starring in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s fourth generation as Armaan Poddar since March 2024.

Purohit spent six years with Sheena Bajaj, his Arjun co-star. On January 22, 2019, he wed Bajaj in Jaipur.

Purohit made his acting debut as Chitwan in Shaurya Aur Suhani. After that, he played Aryaman in Aise Karo Naa Vidaa and Marco D’Souza in an Adaalat episode.
In Sanskaar Laxmi, Bhadrasaal in Chandragupta Maurya, Varun Kashyap / Rubber Man in Hum Ne Li Hai- Shapath, and Karan in Arjun, Purohit went on to play important roles. Afterwards, he made appearances as Aryan in an Ishq Kills episode and as Girish Sinha in an Encounter episode.

In Razia Sultan, Purohit played the title character Malik Altunia, which marked a significant turning point in his career. In the Bharatvarsh documentary series, he also played Dara Shikoh. He later played Alexander in Porus, where he was well-received.
In Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii, Purohit played the lead roles of Ranvijay “RV” Shroff and Dr. Vikrant Saxena, respectively. Additionally, he participated in Box Cricket League 3 as a Contestant.
In StarPlus’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Purohit has been portraying Advocate Armaan Poddar opposite Samridhii Shukla since March 2024, taking Shehzada Dhami’s place.
