In Nagpur, on October 7, 1991, Raut was born to Jeevan and Ragini Raut. Bhagyashree Raut is her sister.Her profession is electrical engineering. She graduated from G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering in Nagpur with a B.E. in electrical engineering.

In 2013, Raut competed in Femina Miss India Goa and placed first runner-up. Lopamudra Raut was able to enter Femina Miss India 2013 directly as a finalist thanks to it.
