Zoya Afroz is an Indian actress, model, and former winner of beauty pageants. She was born on January 10, 1994. Afroz competed in the Glamanand Supermodel India contest and won the title of Miss India International 2021.

Zoya Afroz will represent India in the Miss International 2022 beauty pageant in Japan. Afroz placed second in the previous Femina Miss India 2013 competition.
Her debut onscreen appearance was in the 1998 television series Kora Kagaz as a kid artist. Zoya Afroz went on to perform in Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999), Mann (1999), and Kuch Naa Kaho (2003) films. Afroz made her adult Bollywood film debut with the thriller The Xposé in 2014; the movie was a commercial success. Since she was a young artist, Afroz has also contributed to a number of TV ads. Zoya Afroz was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, to Shadaab and Saleha Afroz, who were originally from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. At the age of three, she began her career in Indian films, television shows, and advertisements. Zoya Afroz went to Mumbai’s R N Shah High School. Zoya Afroz later went to Mithibai College in Mumbai’s Vile Parle, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce.

When Afroz was three years old, her career began. At the age of three, she won her big break in the Rasna-sponsored Mahasearch Contest, and she went on to star in an advertisement for the same product. In 1998, she made an appearance on the television show Kora Kagaz. Rajshri Productions saw her and offered her a part in Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999). In the successful picture, she portrayed the daughter of Neelam Kothari, both at the box office and in terms of commerce.
Later on, she starred in movies like Kuch Naa Kaho (2003) and Mann (1999). After then, she appeared in the fantasy adventure television series Son Pari for kids. In the 2000 television serial Jai Mata Ki on DD National, she portrayed a child Goddess Parvati. Zoya Afroz has made appearances in television ads as a young child for a number of companies, including Shoppers Stop, Whirlpool, JetBlue, and New York Life Insurance.
2012 to the present
Zoya Afroz performed in the Punjabi film Sadi Gali Aaya Karo (2012) when she was seventeen years old. Zoya Afroz debuted in Bollywood as an adult in the 2014 movie The Xposé. “The leading lady, Zoya Afroz [as Chandni], looks glamorous and had enacted her parts in the film with confidence,” Taran Adarsh said of her character. Later, she signed on to star in the unreleased Tamil film Thamizhan Endru Sol.

Afroz costarred with Himansh Kohli in the 2017 movie Sweetiee Weds NRI. “I was waiting for such a film,” she said. I so grabbed it with both hands when it arrived. In the previous film, I played a rather serious role. I wanted to do something that would appeal to young people and allow me to portray my age on TV, and this is very entertaining. In 2019, she acted in the Tamil film Paamban.
Zoya Afroz appeared in the March and June pages of the 2020 Kingfisher Calendar, which she modeled for in the Western Cape, South Africa. Zoya Afroz and Vivaan Shah were chosen for the lead roles in the Hindi movie Kabaad – The Coin. On February 13, 2021, the movie was made available digitally on Voot. Afroz has signed on to co-star with Madhur Mittal and Ravi Dubey in the thriller web series “Matsya Kaand” on MX Player. Zoya Afroz was chosen for the main cast in “Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy,” an espionage thriller.

At the age of eighteen, Afroz entered and won the Femina Miss Indore 2013 title. Her admission into the Femina Miss India 2013 competition was a direct entry. Rochelle Rao, Miss India International 2012 (and Top 15 of Miss International 2012), crowned Afroz as the second runner-up during the grand finale event held on March 24, 2013, in Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai.
The Miss India Organization first considered Afroz to represent India at Miss International 2013. But when Miss Diva 2013 was announced, the edition’s first runner-up, Gurleen Grewal, was chosen to be Miss India International 2013.
Zoya Afroz India’s Glamanand Supermodel
Afroz participated in the Glamanand Supermodel India pageant in 2021. On August 21, 2021, the grand finale event took place in the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon, Haryana, in the National Capital Region. There, she won three subtitles: Top Model, Miss Glamorous Eyes, and Best in Evening Gown.
The top 5 delegates were posed the same question at the Femina Miss India 2017 final question and answer round: “What is the role of a beauty pageant in a country that lacks unity?” Afroz’s response was as follows:
“As someone who has always wanted to walk the runway at a prestigious pageant, I think beauty pageants provide young women with the opportunity to succeed in their careers, no matter what field they choose to follow. Beauty pageants acknowledge this and offer them the opportunity to soar, empowering and fortifying them. Therefore, I think that in our country, which is so diverse yet united at the same time, beauty pageants bring girls from all different backgrounds together and teach them so much about one another, unlike in other nations where there isn’t as much togetherness. I really believe that pageants bring women together and enable them to realize their full potential.”
Zoya Afroz defeated 23 other competitors to win the title of Miss India International 2021 at the conclusion of the competition. As a result, she will compete as the representative of India in the Miss International 2022 pageant, which will take place in Yokohama, Japan, in the fall of 2022.
