Actress Sobhita Dhulipala, who was born in India on May 31, 1992, is involved in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema. Following her representation of India at Miss Earth 2013 , Dhulipala made her screen debut in Anurag Kashyap’s Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016), for which she received a Cannes film festival nomination .

Sobhita Dhulipala went on to achieve commercial success in the drama series Made in Heaven (2019–2023) on Amazon Prime Video as Tara.
The Malayalam films Moothon (2019) and Kurup (2021), the Telugu films Goodachari (2018) and Major (2022), the Tamil two-part epic Ponniyin Selvan: I (2022) and Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023), and, most recently, the Hindi series The Night Manager (2023) were all featuring Dhulipala.

In Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, on May 31, 1992, Sobhita Dhulipala was born . into a family of Telugu Brahmins. Her mother Santha Kamakshi taught elementary school, while her father Venugopal Rao worked as an engineer for the Merchant Navy. Visakhapatnam is her hometown.
At the age of sixteen, she relocated to Mumbai on her own and subsequently enrolled in the University of Mumbai’s H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. Sobhita Dhulipala has also had training in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi classical dance. In 2010, Dhulipala won the title of Navy Queen during the annual Navy Ball pin.

Dhulipala’s college classmate who was working as an intern at the Miss Office recommended that she try out for the next pageant. Dhulipala joined, calling herself a “uncool geek” and said she wanted approval. Her goal was to pass the first round, just to show her friends that she could.

Sobhita Dhulipala later competed as a representative of India in Miss Earth 2013, held in the Philippines, although she was unable to place in the top 20 and instead won the titles of Miss Photogenic, Miss Talent, Miss Beauty for a Cause, and Miss Beautiful Face. Sobhita Dhulipala was also included in the 2014 Kingfisher Calendar.

In 2016, Dhulipala made her feature film debut in Raman Raghav 2.0. and in July 2016 inked a three-film agreement with Phantom Films. Sobhita Dhulipala was a nominee for best supporting performance in the Director’s Fortnight at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival because of her part in the movie. Sobhita Dhulipala signed on for two films in early August 2016: Raja Menon’s Chef and Akshat Verma’s Kaalakaandi, both starring Saif Ali Khan. In 2018, Dhulipala made her Telugu film debut as a psychology graduate in Goodachari, which also starred Adivi Sesh.

In the 2019 Amazon Prime original series Made in Heaven, Dhulipala played the role of Tara, a wedding planner. Sobhita Dhulipala appeared in the collection Ghost Stories as a pregnant woman. Dhulipala made an appearance in Kurup in 2021. Dhulipala portrayed a hotel guest in the Hindi-Telugu biographical major in 2022.
In the historical drama Ponniyin Selvan: I and its follow-up Ponniyin Selvan: II, directed by Mani Ratnam, Dhulipala played Vaanathi. After that, she had appearances in two seasons of The Night Manager with Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor. Sobhita Dhulipala was awarded the ITA Award for Best Actress-Popular (OTT) for the series.
