Siddu from Sikakulam, a 2008 Telugu film, was Shraddha’s first release. Within six months of leaving Target, she signed four Telugu movies: 18, 20 Love Story, Diary, Adhineta, and Sukumar’s Arya 2, which was her first well-known project.

In 2010, Shraddha debuted in Bollywood with the Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan-directed film Lahore, the first production of Sai Om Films. Shraddha debuted in Bengali with The Royal Bengal Tiger (2014) after a year. Shraddha Das released two Hindi films later that year: the internationally acclaimed sensual thriller Zid, starring Vivek Agnihotri, and the romantic comedy Lucky Kabootar. Mixed reviews were given to both movies upon premiere . After Zid was out, Shraddha gained from it and got more offers from Bollywood. Shraddha Das made headlines before Zid came out when she accused co-star Mannara of striking her while she was restrained and gagged for a part in the movie, as well as harming her during filming.
Three Telugu movies—Rey, Bandipotu, and Superstar Kidnap—have been finished by Shraddha.
