Sayantani Ghosh is an Indian television actress who was born on September 6, 1983. In Hindi television, Sayantani Ghosh made her debut in the popular soap opera Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. Her most well-known roles have been in the popular series Naaginn – Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa, Mahabharat, Tera Yaar Hoon Main, and Naagin 4.
Sayantani Ghosh took part in Bigg Boss 6 in 2012.

After competing in the Miss Calcutta beauty pageant and landing parts in Bengali films, Sayantani Ghosh made her television debut in the Indian soap opera Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan in 2002.

Following four years in that supporting role, Sayantani Ghosh spent two years in the main cast of Naaginn – Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa as Amrita. Sayantani Ghosh then appeared in Adaalat as Prosecutor Pranali Gujral as a guest star. She portrayed Kakul Samman Chaudhary in Ghar Ek Sapnaa in the same year.
Participating in the Indian version of the UK reality show Big Brother, Bigg Boss 6 , Ghosh was kicked out of the house during the third week of its sixth season. In 2013, Sayantani Ghosh starred as Satyavati, a fisherwoman who eventually became the emperor’s bride, in the main cast of the epic television series Mahabharat. In 2014, Ghosh participated in Dare 2 Dance and played an antagonist in Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar.

Ghosh made her stage debut in the drama Ovee: A Haunted Hostel in 2019. Later, Sayantani Ghosh played Dr. Anjali Gupta in Sanjivani. Sayantani Ghosh appeared as Rasiya Bai in a cameo in Barrister Babu in 2020. Sayantani Ghosh debuted as the new female lead, Daljeet Bagga, in the Sony SAB series Tera Yaar Hoon Main in December 2020, taking Jhanvi Bansal’s position. Her role was to wed the main male character, Rajeev (Sudeep Sahir), in a specific circumstance. Sayantani Ghosh was awarded the Gold Comedy Awards’ “Favourite Lokpriya Sadasya” in 2021 for her performance in Tera Yaar Hoon Main as Daljeet Bagga.

On December 6, 2021, Sayantani Ghosh wed her longtime partner, Anugrah Tiwari. Ghosh and her spouse both tested positive for COVID-19 in January 2022. Sayantani Ghosh withdrew from filming for a little while and confined herself. Sayantani Ghosh recovered and tested negative for COVID-19 after a while, at which point she started filming the show again.
