Sayyad began her career in 2015 when she competed in MTV Splitsvilla 8, placing second behind Utkarsh Gupta. Sana Sayyad debuted as an actress in Boyz Will Be Boyz (2015), playing Ashita opposite Ashwini Koul. The same year, she played Avanti opposite Shehzad Shaikh in Yeh Hai Aashiqui Sun Yaar Try Maar.
