Malaika Arora, an Indian actress, dancer, model, VJ, and television personality, primarily works in Hindi-language films. Malaika Arora was born on October 23, 1973. Together with her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan, she founded the business Arbaaz Khan Productions in 2008, which produced the Dabangg movie series.

Malaika has played the lead in films like EMI (2008) and Kaante (2002) as an actor. Malaika additionally appeared in the songs Chaiyya Chaiyya (1998), Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha (1998), Maahi Ve (2002, 2005), and Munni Badnaam Hui (2010).

Malaika graduated from Swami Vivekanand School in Chembur with a secondary education. The school’s headmaster was Grace Polycarp, her aunt. She also graduated from Holy Cross High School in Thane, where she attended classes up till the ninth grade. She attended Jai Hind College in Churchgate to further her studies, but she was unable to finish because of work commitments. Before beginning her modelling career, she resided at Borla Society in Chembur, across from Basant Talkies.

When MTV India began operations, Arora was chosen as one of the VJs. She started out as an interviewer, hosted such including Club MTV , and then co-hosted the programmes Love Line and Style Check with Cyrus Broacha. After that, Malaika started modelling, appearing in numerous commercials for album tracks like “Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha” by Bally Sagoo, in which she was paired with Jas Arora, and item numbers like “Chaiyya Chaiyya” from the 1998 Bollywood film Dil Se.

Malaika Arora Private Life

In 1998, Arora wed Bollywood actor-director-producer Arbaaz Khan, whom she had met while working on a coffee ad. She went by the name Malaika Arora Khan from the time of her union with Khan till their divorce. They announced their breakup on March 28, 2016, claiming compatibility problems. On May 11, 2017, the couple filed for divorce formally. Arhaan Khan, their son, was born on November 9, 2002. According to the agreement made in the Bandra Family Court, Arora will have custody of the son following the divorce, while Khan will have visitation rights.
