Kavita Kaushik Childhood

In New Delhi, India, on February 15, 1981, Kaushik was born into a Brahmin family.She is the daughter of retired CRPF officer Dinesh Chandra Kaushik . Kavita Kaushik received her philosophy degree from Delhi’s Indraprastha College for Women.

2001–2006: Debut During her college years, Kaushik began modelling, organising events, and anchoring. She relocated to Mumbai in 2001 after attending Kutumb auditions in New Delhi. In Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, starring Ekta Kapoor, Kaushik took on the character of Manya Doshi. She made appearances in Kohi Apna Sa and Kammal in 2002.

Kavita starred in Piya Ka Ghar on Zed TV and Kahani Terrii Merrii on Sony TV in 2003. She made episodic appearances in the television series Dil Kya Chahtha Hai, Ruby Duby Hub Dub, Tumhari Disha, and Raat Hone Ko Hai in 2004.

Kavita Kaushik played Naina Kulkarni in Star Plus’s longest-running daily soap opera Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan from 2004 to 2005. Subsequently, she made an appearance as Pallavi in another daily serial opera Remix. Kaushik played Sub Inspector Anushka in two short-lived TV series, Ye Meri Life Hai and C.I.D.

In the 2004 Bollywood film Ek Hasina Thi, Kaushik made his screen debut as Saif Ali Khan’s girlfriend. After making a comeback to television in 2005 with the series Rooh, Kaushik went on to play Deepika in Saarrthi.

Breakthrough and success from 2006 to 2015.

Kaushik’s big break came in 2006 when she was cast as Chandramukhi Chautala, the lead character in F.I.R., the longest-running sitcom on SAB TV. She played the part through to the very end. Because of her big stature and endearing demeanour, Kaushik was initially offered largely glamorous and negative roles in the industry. Kavita Kaushik broke away from the unfavourable roles she was being offered at the time with her time as Chandramukhi Chautala in F.I.R., which proved to be a turning point in her career . With 1000 episodes produced, the sitcom demonstrated its success.

As a fiery Haryanavi-speaking female police officer, Kaushik became a well-known figure in Indian television and received multiple awards. The actor Chitrashi Rawat played Jawalamukhi Chautala, Chandramukhi’s daughter, after her 20-year hiatus from the FIR. While Rawat was ordered to leave the play, Kaushik returned to the scene in July 2013 wearing her former role as Chandramukhi Chautala in the FIR.The programme concluded in January of 2015.

Presenting Star Plus’s reality series Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano in 2009 was Kaushik. Despite the sitcom’s popularity, Kaushik quit it in January 2013 to co-star with Gaurav Gera in another SAB TV sitcom called Tota Weds Maina. The circumstances that resulted from Tota (Gera) and Maina (Kaushik) getting married by accident were the main emphasis of the narrative. Nevertheless, the show’s TRPs kept declining, and in April of that year, it was cancelled.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and other ventures from 2015 until the present

Together with VJ Andy, Kaushik hosted the sports reality series Box Cricket League on Sony TV in 2014. Kaushik took part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8, Colours TV’s celebrity dance show, in July 2015; unfortunately, she was evicted in the second week. During the grand finale of Jhalak in October 2015, Kaushik walked off the stage after the Comedy Nights Bachao team insulted her and disconnected her microphone.

Kaushik stated: “Yeah, it’s true that I detest programmes like The Roast where individuals make crude remarks about national celebrities; I don’t have any such majboori, and I don’t feel comfortable projecting myself in a shallow way in order to generate content or revenue. I signed Jhalak instead of “Bachaao.” Some strangers insulted me without asking permission or giving me a warning, and when I attempted to defend myself, they turned off my Mike.”

Kaushik and Kavita co-hosted the show Fakebook in October. In SAB TV’s Dr. Bhanumati On Duty, Kaushik was cast in the lead character of Bhanumati in June 2016. left the show in less than a month, and Debina Bonnerjee took her place. But once Kaushik left, the show didn’t do well and was cancelled in September 2016.

In the Bollywood movie Lollipop Since 1947, Kaushik featured. Anirudh Chautala directed the political satire set in a lower middle class household in which Kaushik plays actor Deepak Dobriyal’s wife. In 2017, Kaushik participated in Tyohaar Ki Thaali, Sakshi Tanwar’s cookery reality show, as a celebrity guest. In 2017, Kaushik made his screen debut in Vekh Baraatan Challiyan, a Punjabi film. Savdhaan India, a crime series on Star Bharat, was hosted by Kaushik from 2018 to 2019.Kavita Kaushik played Mindo in the Punjabi film Mindo Taseeldarni in 2019. In 2019, Kaushik and Aamir Ali took part in Colours TV’s Kitchen Champion 5, which was hosted by Arjun Bijlani.

Kaushik competed on the reality show Bigg Boss 14 in October 2020, joining as a wild card. Kavita Kaushik was evicted at first, then she returned. In November, following an altercation with Rubina Dilaik, she left the residence.

Along with fellow television actor Karan Grover, Kaushik was a contestant on Nach Baliye 3, a celebrity couples dance reality show. 2008 saw the couple’s breakup. In January 2017, she tied the knot with businessman Ronnit Biswas, her closest friend.
