Born on September 25, 1977, Divya Dutta is an Indian model and actor. In addition to Malayalam and English-language movies, she has made appearances in Hindi and Punjabi films. Among the several honors she has won are two IIFA Awards, a Filmfare OTT Award, and a National Film Award.

After making her Hindi film debut in 1994’s Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna, Dutta went on to play lead roles in several supporting roles in the 1995 drama Veergati. After then, she became well-known for her performance as Muslim wife Zainab, who was split from her Sikh husband, in the 1999 Punjabi film Shaheed-e-Mohabbat Boota Singh, which was based on the 1947 Indian Partition.
