Aamna Sharif began getting offers to model for different brands during her sophomore year of college. Aamna Sharif began her professional career by appearing in music videos. In Kahiin to Hoga, Sharif debuted as an actress alongside Rajeev Khandelwal in the role of Kashish Sinha. Aamna Sharif portrayed Muskaan Mishra, the antithesis of Raqesh Vashisth, in Sony TV’s Hongey Judaa Na Hum from 2012 to 2013.

But none of the films helped her become well-known, and in 2012, she made a comeback to television with Hongey Judaa Na Hum.
After a six-year hiatus, Sharif returned to television in 2019 with Kasautii Zindagii Kay on StarPlus, where she plays antagonist Komolika Basu, a new character who takes Hina Khan’s place.
