Indian model, actor, singer, writer, producer, and star of film and television Sudhanshu Pandey was born on August 22, 1974. His most well-known roles are those of Vanraj Shah in Anupama: Namaste America and Anupamaa . Throughout his career, he has made numerous appearances in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu motion pictures.
Sudhanshu Pandey Modelling Career
Professional Panday began his modelling career in the early 1990s. In 1998, he made his television debut with the series Kanyadaan. In Khiladi 420, he co-starred alongside Akshay Kumar in his feature film debut. Pandey made an appearance in the song Maikhane se Sharab se from Pankaj Udhas’ album Mahek in 1999. Later, he joined A Band of Boys, the first musical group in India. Pandey decided to leave the band later in 2005 because he needed to stabilise his finances.

Throughout the 2010s, Pandey also had frequent appearances in Tamil films. Sudhanshu Pandey played the lead antagonist for the first time in Ajith Kumar’s Billa II (2012). Subsequently, he landed roles in Meaghamann (2014), Indrajith (2017), and 2.0 (2018), which at the time of its release was the most costly Indian film.
With his production company, Raw Stock Production Private Limited, Pandey created a music video for his 2018 debut song, Teri Adaa, for which he also served as lyricist. In 2021, he also produced Tahir Baig, his second home production, and Fitrat, a short film.
His portrayal of Vanraj Shah in Anupamaa since 2020 has helped him gain popularity among the Hindi-speaking public. Sudhanshu Pandey returned to the character of Vanraj Shah in Anupama: Namaste America, an eleven-episode web series that premiered in 2022 and is available to stream onDisney+ Hotstar.
Madalsa Sharma Chakraborty starred in Pandey’s second solo song, Dil Ki Tu Zameen, which was released in 2023.
