Pearl V. Puri was born on July 10, 1989, in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, into Vipin Puri and Pummy Puri, Punjabi Hindu Khatri family members. His older sister, Quety Puri, is Reet Vohra. Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School in Chhindwara was Puri’s first school. His family relocated to Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a few years later, and he started attending Raghendra Swarup Public School there.

In 2013, Puri made his television acting debut in the love triangle Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat on Sony TV, which was produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. Pearl V Puri played Ajay Tiwari in the supporting role. Puri appeared in the 2014 episode of Rangrasiya on Colours TV in a cameo as Samir.
He played his first major part in the musical romance drama Phir Bhi Na Maane…Badtameez Dil on Star Plus in 2015, alongside Asmita Sood as the successful and endearing rocker Abeer Malhotra.
The film was directed by Saurabh Tewari Films. Despite the short five-month runtime of the show, he was nominated for an Indian Telly Award for Best Fresh New Face (Male) because of the popularity of his portrayal of Abeer. The programme stopped on September 19 , but it returned on Hotstar and ran there until November 18th.

His biggest break came in 2018 with the release of the third season of the popular spooky series Naagin, starring Ekta Kapoor. He became well-known thanks to his depiction of Mahir Sehgal/Mihir Sippi and his on-screen connection with co-actress Surbhi Jyoti. He was nominated for Best Actor Male (Popular) and Best Onscreen Jodi (Popular) at the Indian Telly Awards, and he won the Best Actor Male (Critics) category at the Gold Awards. After 103 episodes, the show received high total viewership and ended in May 2019, making it the longest season in the franchise.
With the co-starring role of Anita Hassanandani in Peerh Meri, Puri debuted on his discography in 2019. Pearl V Puri appeared in two Colours TV shows: Khatra Khatra Khatra and Kitchen Champion’s fifth season. Additionally, he made an appearance in Box Cricket League’s fourth season.
