Indian actor Kavin Raj primarily performs in Tamil films. Kavin Raj moved from the silver screen to the little screen. He first gained recognition for himself in the television series Saravanan Meenatchi, where he played the evil Vettaiyan, who eventually became a hero. Kavin participated in Season 3 of Bigg Boss in 2019. Kavin Raj made his big screen debut in popular films like Dada (2023) and Lift (2021) .

While pursuing his studies at Loyola College, Kavin went to Star Vijay’s auditions. His debut TV serial appearance was in the collegiate adaptation of Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, in which he played a student. He kept working on Star Vijay, making guest appearances in the first season of Saravanan Meenatchi and the series Thayumanavan. Kavin was cast as the adversary in Saravanan Meenatchi’s second season, but as the plot developed, his Vettaiyan character underwent a transformation and emerged as the major character.

For his performance, he received favourable reviews from critics and was named the 2015 Vijay Television Awards’ Favourite Male Actor. Following the conclusion of season 2, Kavin declared his intention to enter the Tamil cinema industry and declined to participate in any more television serials.
In late 2016, Kavin acted in two films: the lead role in Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma (2019) and the supporting role in Sathriyan (2017) by S. R. Prabhakaran. He had minor, unimportant roles in Karthik Subbaraj’s Pizza (2012) and Ravikumar’s Indru Netru Naalai (2015) before these flicks. The movie Sathriyan, which starred Vikram Prabhu and Manjima Mohan, eventually got mediocre reviews. Kavin, who played a doctor opposite Aishwarya Dutta, also received bad reviews.
Together, they worked on the writing. Kavin Raj portrayed a man in the movie whose life transforms upon meeting Remya Nambeesan’s character, the main character. The producer wanted to release the movie as widely as possible throughout Tamil Nadu, hence there were multiple delays. 2019 saw the final release of the movie, to varying reviews.
After participating in the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil, Kavin gained notoriety .
