Jimmy Sheirgill, commonly known as Jimmy Shergill, was born Jasjit Singh Gill on December 3, 1970. Jimmy Sheirgill is an Indian actor and producer who mostly works in Punjabi and Hindi cinema. Sheirgill has won multiple awards, including one PTC Punjabi Film Award, one Producers Guild Film Award, and a nomination for a Filmfare Award.

In 1996, Sheirgill made his film debut in the thriller Maachis. He attended Bikram College at Punjabi University in Patiala and The Punjab Public School in Nabha.
