Born on July 27, 1998, Abhay Verma is an Indian actor that performs in Hindi films. He became well-known for his major part in the comedy-horror movie Munjya (2024) after first receiving notice for his supporting work in the second season of the thriller series The Family Man (2021).

He hails from Haryana’s Panipat. After completing his education at St. Mary’s Convent School, he attempted science but was unsuccessful three times. He later enrolled in a BBA program, but he thought it was a waste of time. His parents accompanied him to Mumbai so he could pursue an acting career. Abhishek Verma, his brother, portrayed “Aadi” in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Varma starred in Little Things after launching his acting career with Marzi. In addition to these productions, he has worked on TV ads. Verma disclosed that he gained a great deal of knowledge by watching others while working as a junior artist on the Super 30 set, where he was paid ₹800 rupees a day. Motivated by his daily work with two hundred colleagues, he decided that, instead of staying on in his current position for an extended amount of time, he would like to pursue bigger things in the film industry.

His breakthrough performance came in The Family Man 2 opposite Manoj Bajpayee. He portrayed Ashlesha Thakur’s character Kalyan, a friend of Dhruti who was engaged with terrorists. He debuted in a movie in 2023, playing a transsexual character in Safed. When Verma was offered the transgender part, she accepted it right away, calling it a “blessing”. In her assessment of Abhay Verma’s performance in Safed for India Today, Sana Farzeen points out that Verma excels in his moments with Barkha Bisht, implying a deep connection between them that goes beyond the dynamics between other characters.
Following a ten-year hiatus from his debut film Ek Thi Daayan, he returned to filmmaking in 2024 as a co-star in Kannan Iyer’s Ae Watan Mere Watan with Sara Ali Khan. His breakthrough performance came in June when he played the lead in the movie Munjya. The movie, which centers on the Munjya narrative, was influenced by Indian mythology and folklore.
In the film Mann Bairagi, Verma also filmed a role as the younger Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India. Sanjay Tripathi is the director, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali is the producer.
