Indian salsa dancer, choreographer, and educator Sneha Kapoor does it all. The term “The Indian Salsa Princess” is a common one for her. Although Kapoor is located in Mumbai, her professional career started in Bangalore with a dance group.

It marked the start of a career including a variety of dance styles, including Bollywood, hip-hop, Adagio, Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. On May 25, 2015, she received an invitation to Jabalpur as a chief guest to attend the performance of the talented young dancers.
Sneha Kapoor Career
Sneha Kapoor, also referred to as “SalsaSneha” or “The Indian Salsa Princess,” is widely acknowledged for having established the Indian Salsa scene as a global phenomenon. The first Indian to compete for and win multiple international salsa championships is Kapoor.
She started her dancing career in 2006 at Lourd Vijay’s Dance Studio while residing in Mumbai. It marked the start of a fast-paced career embracing a variety of dance styles, including Bollywood, Adagio, Jive, Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue.
Originally an athlete, Kapoor changed her career path to dance after meeting Richard Tholoor. She joined Lourd Vijay’s dance studio in Bangalore and gave up her athletic career for a variety of reasons. In salsa competitions around the globe, Kapoor and her dancing partner Tholoor took home numerous honours and prizes during her time at the academy.

A Guinness World Record for “Most Number of Swing Dance Flips in a Minute” was broken by Kapoor. Four years earlier, a record of 33 flips in a minute was set in the UK; however, Kapoor and her trio of dancers broke that mark with 39 flips in a minute.
Sneha Kapoor took part in Season 3 of Dance India Dance and was eliminated on January 22, 2012. Just Dance and Perfect Bride are two reality shows for which Kapoor has choreographed. She also choreographed Heroine, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, and Jugaari, a South Indian film. She travels the country and beyond giving dance courses and performances.

Sunil and Elizabeth Kapoor gave birth to Kapoor. Neha Kapoor is her sibling.
