Born on February 28, 1987, Hazel Keech is a British actress and model who has worked in Indian cinema and television. Hazel Keech is also known by her modelling names, Rose Dawn and Gurbasant Kaur. Hazel starred in an advertising for Suzuki as well as Billa and Bodyguard.

On February 28, 1987 , Keech was born in Essex, England, to a mother of Bihari origin who was Indo-Mauritian Hindu and a father of British descent. Hazel Keech attended Beal High School in Redbridge, London, where she studied dance, including Indian classical, British dance, and western contemporary, and participated in theatre productions.
Hazel Keech Career
Hazel got interested in theatre, cinema, and television along with Sagarika Ghatge and Fatema Agarkar Keech. She performed dances in the British show Marple by Agatha Christie. Her career in Hindi cinema was showcased in the BBC documentary series Call The Shots. In 2002, she joined the cast of the Bollywood musical Bombay Dreams for their promotional tour in London, and the following year, she performed in the chorus of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, a West End production. Hazel Keech appeared in multiple Harry Potter films as an extra.

After receiving job offers in 2005 while on vacation in Mumbai, she made the decision to remain and pursue a career in acting and modelling in India. Her name was changed to Rose Dawn by the first modelling agency she worked with. Subsequently, she appeared in numerous music videos under the name “Kahin Pe Nigahen” and appeared in numerous TV commercials, including the Sprite “University of Freshology” ad and the Vivel by ITC commercial.

Keech made an appearance in the 2007 Tamil film Billa, in which she sang a song called “Sei Ethavathu” in an item number. Hazel Keech appeared in a minor role in the Siddique-directed and Atul Agnihotri-produced Hindi movie Bodyguard in 2011. In the movie Maximum, she also performed the item number “Aa Ante Amlapuram”. The song “Chal Chal Chal” was one of her performances in the 2012 movie Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum.

Hazel Keech made her appearance on the well-known Indian TV programme Bigg Boss 7 in September 2013, but she was eliminated a week later, becoming the first participant to leave the house. Hazel Keech voiced her ire at Pratyusha Banerjee in an interview following her removal, adding, “She likes to create problems.”
