Telugu cinema employs Indian film director and screenwriter Gopichand Malineni, who was born on March 13, 1980. In 2010, after serving as an assistant director on numerous films, Malineni took the helm for the first time with the action comedy Don Seenu. Later on, he directed films including Winner, Krack, Balupu, Pandaga Chesko, and Bodyguard.
Gopichand Malineni Childhood
In the Andhra Pradesh district of Prakasam, Gopichand Malineni was born and raised in the village of Boddulurivaripalem, which is close to Ongole. The village is where his family is from. The Sarada Niketan School in the Prakasam District served as his primary school, while VR Collegei in Nellore served as his upper primary school. After dropping out of the 12th grade, he quickly entered the movie business. Back then, he had a lot of support from his friends and family. On February 14, 2013, he wed Sri Satya. Satvik, his son, debuted as a child actor in Krack (2021).

During his early career, Malineni assisted with camera work for ETV shows that were broadcast in Warangal. His efforts at ETV News were valued.

Malineni began his career in the film industry working as a camera assistant on Veera Shankar’s Hello I Love You. After that, he was employed as a direction assistant on the film Police, which starred Srihari in the lead part. He collaborated with Srihari on four films before joining forces with E.V.V. Satyanarayana on two more; he also worked on films with Srinu Vytla (Andarivaadu), Venky, Dhee, A.R. Murugadoss (Stalin), Srivas (Lakshyam), and Meher Ramesh (Kantri and Billa).
Don Seenu, one of the biggest blockbuster movies of 2010 and starring Ravi Teja and Shriya Saran in the key roles, marked his directorial debut .Gopichand Malineni directed the film Bodyguard in 2012, starring Venkatesh and Trisha. Gopichand Malineni directed the 2013 PVP Cinema production Balupu, which starred Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Journey star Anjali. The movie was dubbed Ravi Teja’s comeback. The movie came out on June 28, 2013. After Don Seenu, Balupu was Malineni’s second film starring Ravi Teja. Critics gave the movie favourable reviews. and enjoyed box office success.
Subsequently, Malineni made his reputation in the business with additional hits like Pandaga Chesko, which starred Rakul Preet Singh and Ram Pothineni in the key parts. Malineni had another hit with this film, and Ram Pothineni made a reappearance. Winner , which starred Sai Dharam Tej and Rakul Preet Singh in the major roles, was a commercial failure for Malineni in 2017.
