Known for playing Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the Hindi comedic television series Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!, Saumya Tandon (born 3 November 1984) is an Indian actress and television personality.

Saumya Tandon Early Years
On November 3, 1984, Tandon was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She attended St. Mary’s Convent School after the family relocated to Ujjain. B.G. Tandon, her father, is a writer and a former professor at a school in Ujjain.
Saumya Tandon Career
Early in her career, Tandon began modelling and was named “Femina Cover Girl First Runner Up” in 2006. In 2008, she also had a worldwide project appearance in the Afghan serial Khushi, where she played the principal role of an Afghan woman doctor. In 2011, Saumya Tandon and Shah Rukh Khan co-hosted Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout, a show based on the Wipeout formula.

Saumya Tandon presented Dance India Dance for three seasons, for which she was also recognised with the Best Anchor award.For three seasons, she co-hosted the Bournvita Quiz Contest with Derek O’Brien. Saumya Tandon portrayed Roop, Kareena’s character’s sister, in Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met, which also starred Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. She also served as the three-season host of LG Mallika-e-Kitchen.

Tandon began portraying Anita in the comedy series Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! in 2015. She also goes by the character name “gori mem” from the serial. In 2018, she served as the season 2 host of Colours TV’s Entertainment Ki Raat.
