Born on October 4, 1997, Rishabh Rajendra Pant is an Indian international cricket player who bats as a wicket-keeper for the Indian cricket team. Rishabh Rajendra Pant is most recognised for his consistency in scoring runs in Test cricket, even though he has played for India in all forms.

In the Indian Premier League, Rishabh Pant captains the Delhi Capitals and plays cricket for Delhi in his own country. The India U-19 squad that finished second in the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup had him as vice captain.
In January 2017, he debuted for India in Twenty20 International (T20I), August 2018 in Test matches, and October 2018 in One Day International (ODI) matches. Rajendra and Saroj Pant welcomed Rishabh Pant into the world at Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. When Pant was twelve, his mother would take him to Delhi on the weekends so he could train at the Sonnet Cricket Academy under Tarak Sinha. They had nowhere to stay in the city, so he and his mother stayed at a Gurdwara in Moti Bagh.

Pant was engaged in a near-fatal car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun route near Roorkee on December 30, 2022. Despite having cuts on his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee, and injuries to his head, back, and feet, he was deemed not to have suffered any significant injuries and remained stable. He also sustained abrasion injuries to his back in addition to hurting his right wrist, ankle, and toe.
Pant was moved from Saksham Hospital, which is close to New Delhi, to Max Hospital in Dehradun after his initial admission. His brain and spine MRI scans came back normal, but he still needed plastic surgery to treat his cuts, abrasions, and face injuries. His knee and ankle needed more time to be scanned because of the swelling and soreness.
Eyewitnesses claimed that Pant was the only occupant of his Mercedes SUV automobile when it was driven from Roorkee to New Delhi. The vehicle apparently caught fire after hitting the road’s centre barrier. The car skidded for almost 200 metres before colliding into the road barrier, according to reports of the event that occurred at 5:30 in the morning. According to some reports, Pant might have dozed off while operating a vehicle. Haryana Roadways personnel Sushil Kumar, a bus driver, and Paramjeet Singh, a bus conductor, came to his aid.
