Hardik Pandya Early Life

On October 11, 1993, Hardik Pandya was born in Surat, Gujarat. When Hardik was five years old, his father, Himanshu Pandya, closed his little auto finance company in Surat and relocated to Vadodara to provide his boys access to better cricket training facilities. In Vadodara, Himanshu Pandya was employed as a loan agent.

On October 16, 2016, in Dharamshala, Pandya made his debut for India in a One Day International (ODI) match against New Zealand. After Sandeep Patil, Mohit Sharma, and K. L. Rahul, he became the fourth Indian player to win player of the match in his ODI debut. In his debut ODI batting innings, he amassed 36 runs off of 32 balls.

Pandya bowled his highest-scoring ODI (4–24) against England at Old Trafford on July 17, 2022. Hardik Pandya became the first Indian player to make a half-century and take four wickets in an ODI since Yuvraj Singh in 2011 with his 71 runs in the second innings of that same match.
