Indian dancer and actress Shanthipriya has primarily performed in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi movies. In Tamil films, she is credited as Nishanthi, whereas in Telugu and Hindi films, she is known as Shanthipriya. Shanthipriya is Bhanupriya, the actress,’s younger sister.
Shanthipriya Childhood
Pattabiraman and M. Lakshmi, who spoke Telugu in their family, welcomed Shanthipriya into the world at Rangampeta village, which is close to Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. Afterwards, her family relocated to Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her older siblings are the film actress Bhanupriya, who has been in films since the 1980s, and the brother Gopikrishana.
Shanthipriya Career
In 1987, the actress made her cinematic debut in Telugu with the film Kaboye Alludu. Later that year, she made her Tamil debut in Enga Ooru Pattukaran.

Shanthipriya also starred in the legendary television series Vishwamitra (1989) as Shakuntala. After starring as the lead in nearly 25 Tamil and Telugu films, she made her Bollywood debut with Raj N. Sippy’s Saugandh (1991), which starred Akshay Kumar in his first film. Shanthipriya is the Solitario Diamonds brand ambassador. Shanthipriya is a member of the World Designing form advisory board.
Shanthipriya has participated in Bombay Times Fashion Week as a model for designer Chhaya Gandhi. Shanthipriya Individual Life
In 1992, Shanthi Priya wed the actor Siddharth Ray. Siddharth, who acted in movies like Baazigar and Vansh, was V. Shantaram’s grandson. They went on to have two boys. In 2004, Ray passed away at the age of 40 after a heart attack.
