Born Subhamitra Sen on September 21, 1981, Rimi Sen is an Indian actress and producer who works in Bengali, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. Sen made her feature film debut in 1996 with the Bengali film Damu. In the Telugu film Nee Thodu Kavali, she made her feature film debut in 2002.

Sen debuted in the Telugu film Nee Thodu Kavali as the lead actress. 2003 saw the release of her first Hindi movie, Hungama, starring Vijay Galani. Rimi Sen costarred in a comedy film alongside Paresh Rawal, Aftab Shivdasani, and Akshaye Khanna.

Sen competed as a celebrity in the ninth season of Bigg Boss, the Indian adaptation of Big Brother.It debuted in October of 2015. Sen’s partner when she first joined the house was Suyyash Rai; however, on Day 5, Rochelle Rao was selected as her replacement. After 7.5 weeks at the residence, she was forced out.
Sen was a wild card participant in the 2016 season of the dancing celebrity reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9, however he was not chosen.
