Born on September 30, 1972, Shantanu Mukherjee, also known by his stage name Shaan, is an Indian playback singer, actor, composer, live performer, and television personality. Shaan has made a name for himself as one of the greatest and highest paid playback singers in Indian cinema, having recorded a large number of songs in multiple Indian languages for albums and movies.
Shaan Individual Life
Shaan and his spouse Radhika Shaan was born into a Bengali family on September 30, 1972, in Bombay, which is now Mumbai. His late father Manas Mukherjee was a music director, his sister Sagarika is a singer, and his grandpa, Jahar Mukherjee, was a well-known lyricist . In Mumbai, Maharashtra, he was raised.
Early years Of Musical Career

Shaan and his sister joined the Magnasound recording label and put out a few successful albums, including as the critically acclaimed Naujawan and Q-Funk. Shaan then went on to launch Love-Ology. Shaan performed the smash song “Tanha Dil Tanha Safar” from his album Tanha Dil in 2000.

In 2004, he and his sister launched the Bengali album Tomar Aakash, which included songs his father had never released. Shaan and MLTR released the song “Take me to your heart” in 2006. The song is from his album Tishnagi, which Ashish Manchanda engineered and Ranjit Barot produced.
A Career In playback Vocals
In the 1999 film Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Shaan performed two playback songs for the first time. The song “Musu Musu Hasi” connected with the audience right away and was particularly relevant to young people.

In Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs 2014–2015 and The Voice India Kids 2016, Shaan served as a judge. Shaan won the title of best coach in The Voice’s first two seasons in 2015 and 2016. In the Bengali reality series “Super Singer Seasons 2” (2020) and “Super Singer Season 4” (2023), he served as a judge.
