Her father, Rajkumar Muchhal, works for a private company, while her mother, Amita Muchhal, stays at home to raise the family.Palash Muchhal is her younger brother . Muchhal has been touring extensively in India and outside since 2000 for her charity act, which is titled “Save Little Hearts” in English and “Dil Se Dil Tak” in Hindi, meaning “From heart to heart”. Palash, her younger brother, participates in the same shows to raise money for kids with renal diseases. Muchhal often performs 40 songs a show, including Bhajans, Ghazals, and well-known Bollywood tunes. Even after Muchhal made her professional Bollywood playback singing debut in 2011, she persisted in her efforts to support children with heart conditions. Palak Muchhal raised money in August 2015, and that money helped save the lives of eight hundred youngsters. Together with her brother, she had saved 2,200 children’s lives as of October 2020.

Palak Muchhal performed alongside Mika Singh on the song “Jumme Ki Raat” by Reshammiya in 2014, which went on to become the year’s biggest hit. Palak Muchhal then sung the same song with Salman Khan as well. Additionally, she sang the lead role in the Salman Khan movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). Palak Muchhal provided the voice for Amaal Mallik’s “Kaun Tujhe” in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), which was one of the best female songs of the year.
