Indian vocalist Bhoomi Trivedi is well-known for her Hindi hits, “Ram Chahe Leela” from Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela (2013) and “Husn Parcham” from Zero (2018), for which she received multiple nominations and accolades.
Bhoomi Trivedi Life And Work
From a musical family in Vadodara, Gujarat, Trivedi comes. Bhoomi Trivedi began taking music lessons in the eighth grade. Her mother is a folk singer with her own band, while her father is a singing enthusiast who works for the Railways. Her older sister is a trained Bharata Natyam dancer as well as an engineer.

Trivedi was chosen from her audition to compete on Indian Idol 3 in 2007, but she had to leave the contest due to jaundice. Bhoomi Trivedi tried out for Indian Idol 4 again the next year, but she was forced to withdraw once more as her aunt passed away from breast cancer. Bhoomi Trivedi went back to compete in Indian Idol 5, finishing as the runner-up. Bhoomi Trivedi sang a cover of Spice Girls’ Wannabe and Karmacy’s Blood Brothers, a multilingual rap song, in Gujarati at the audition.
With the song “Bahne Dey” from the 2012 Bollywood film Prem Mayee, Trivedi made her Bollywood debut. She did, however, become well-known for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 film Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela, in which she provided the voice of Priyanka Chopra in the song Ram Chahe Leela.
When she learnt that Bhansali was searching for a different voice to sing a song for his upcoming movie, she was first invited to write the Gujarati lyrics and sing that section for a song arranged by Shail Hada. Both the public and critics responded favourably to the song, and reviews were complimentary of Trivedi’s performance. She had recorded Bollywood songs in addition to various Gujarati movies, including as the national award-winning movie Hellaro’s “Vaagyo Re Dhol.”
