Indian singer and performer Akasa Singh (born 2 April 1994), better known by her stage name AKASA. She gained the most notoriety alongside Aastha Gill in the song Naagin. Kheech Meri Photo from the 2016 Bollywood film Sanam Teri Kasam served as her acting debut.

Akasa Singh began her career on reality television before being signed to Sony Music India. In just one month, her debut pop song “Thug Ranjha” had over 27 million views on YouTube, making it the most watched Indian video globally.
Akasa Singh has a long list of successful singles under her belt, including Thug Ranjha, Maserati, Naiyyo, Yaad Na Aana, Shola, Teri Meri Ladayi, and Aithey Aa from Bharat and Dil Na Jaaneya from Good Newzz. As the Secret Side anchor on MTV Beats, Akasa made her acting debut on television. Akasa Singh took part in Season 15 of Bigg Boss as a contestant.
Akasa Singh Career
When Akasa began her career with Mika Singh, she was the lone female among a group of 10 male musicians.Akasa Singh participated in India’s Raw Star. Himesh Reshammiya, Akasa’s mentor on the programme, had vowed to give her a break in Bollywood, which she did thanks to the song “Kheech Meri Photo” from the 2016 film Sanam Teri Kasam. Akasa also participated in the reality competition The Remix with DJ Skip on Amazon Prime.

Akasa Singh was joined in the video by Shasvat Seth and Paresh Pahuja, who played Paresh in Tiger Zinda Hai. The official video quickly became the most watched Indian video on YouTube in the entire world. She took part in Bigg Boss 15 in 2021.
