His 2019 song “Paagal” earned the record for the most watched YouTube video in a single day with 74.8 million views in only one day.YouTube did not vouch for the record . Then-label of Badshah, Sony Music, acknowledged using Google AdSense advertisements to assist promote the song.

The reason YouTube refused to recognise the song was because Badshah’s record company, Sony Music India, had paid for Google and YouTube advertisements that either featured the video or pointed fans in its direction. Some of the YouTube 24-hour viewership records have been questioned as a result of this.

Sony Music India released his single “Genda Phool” in 2020. The Bengali traditional tune “Boro Loker Biti Lo” was mixed in.
