Indian politician Rajendra Rathore was born on April 21, 1955, and he led the opposition in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. He is a BJP member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, serving the Churu Constituency.

Rajendra Rathore Childhood And Schooling

On April 21, 1955, Rathore was born in the Rajasthani district of Churu, in the village of Harpalsar, Sardarshahar. He was born into the family of RAS officer Uttam Singh Rathore. After attending school in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, he graduated from Rajasthan University in Jaipur with an M.A. in 1980, a D.L.L. in 1978, and an L.L.B. in 1977. In 1979, he was chosen to serve as the student union president at Rajasthan University.

He tied the knot with Chand Kanwar on February 23, 1978. The son of the couple is named Parakram Singh Rathore.

Rajendra Rathore Career In Politics

For the past thirty years, Rajendra Rathore has been a well-known representative of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Rajasthan. He has overcome multiple setbacks and maintains a firm hold on Rajput support in the region; in Churu, Rajasthan, he is extremely well-liked. Rathore and the late Dr. Digamber Singh ruled the party in the state for more than fifteen years, supporting Vasundhara Raje’s leadership. Rathore cut ties with Raje following the death of Digamber Singh in 2017. And going into the 2023 assembly elections, has emerged as a strong contender to lead the state’s party after the 2018 Rajasthan election.
