Pawan Singh started out in the music business as a backstage harmonium player at musical performances. Two International Bhojpuri Film Awards have been given to him. Pawan Singh, who is referred to by his fans as “Powerstar,” is well-known for roles in movies like “Mehendi Rachaib Tohare Naam Ke (2007), Pratigya (2008), Rangbaaj Raja (2012), Desh Pardesh (2013), Thok Deb (2013), Baazigar (2014), Muqabala (2015), Gadar (2016), Satya (2017), Wanted (2018), Crack Fighter (2019), Raja (2019), Boss (2021), Mera Bharat Mahaan (2022), Dharma (2022), and Har Har Gange (2023).

Singh declined to run for office from the Asansol Lok Sabha seat in the 2024 Indian General Election when the BJP announced him as their party’s candidate. Later on, he made the decision to run as an independent candidate from the Karakat Lok Sabha constituency. In this election, Raja Ram Singh Kushwaha defeated him by a margin of more than one lakh votes.

Pawan Singh Childhood And Schooling

On January 5, 1986, Pawan Singh was born in the Bihar village of Jokahri, close to Arrah. Shri Ajit Singh, his uncle, taught him how to sing. He graduated from H.N.K. (+2) School in Arrah. Having begun to sing at a young age, his admirers now refer to him as the “Power Star of Bhojpuri Industry” because to his exceptional vocals.

Pawan Singh Career In Music

Singh began performing on stage and singing while he was young. Singh has performed as a vocalist on pop albums in the Bhojpuri language. Odhaniya Wali, his debut album, was released in 1997. Pawan Singh debuted as an actor in the 2004 film Rangli Chunariya Tohre Naam. Together, he starred in his first major motion picture, Rangli Chunariya Tohre Naam, released in 2007. Singh rose to recognition in the industry with the release of the album Lollipop Lageli in 2008, which featured the song Lollipo Lagelu. Saniya Mirza Cut Nathuniya, a song from Singh’s second album Dont Touch My Body, became a huge hit the same year.

With the song Kamariya Hila Rahi Hai, which featured American dancer and actress Lauren Gottlieb, he made his Bollywood debut in 2020. His second Bollywood hit was the holi song Babuni Tere Rang Me, which featured Tridha Choudhury. Current, which featured Payal Dev, came next. In 2021, he collaborated with Sonu Nigam on a Chhath song and produced Bhojpuri renditions of several well-known Bollywood hits, such as Lut gaye, which was originally performed by Jubin Nautiyal and Barish Ban Jana. Pawan Singh Individual Life

In a private ceremony held in 2014, Singh wed Neelam Singh in front of friends, family, and prominent figures from the Bhojpuri film industry. However, on March 8, 2015, Neelam committed suicide at home shortly after they were married. 2018 saw Pawan wed Jyoti Singh in a secret ceremony in Ballia that was only visible to close relatives and assistants. He filed for divorce from Jyoti in 2022, but Pawan Singh has refused to move forward with the divorce, thus it hasn’t been finalized yet.
