Nikkhil Suresh Advani is an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter who was born on April 28, 1971. Nikkhil Advani co-founded the entertainment company Emmay Entertainment with his sister Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani.

Advani was born into a Sindhi Hindu household and raised in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. His mother is a professional in advertising, while his father is a retired professional who held high management roles with multinationals in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Nikkhil has almost twenty-five years of film experience. He started working with art-house filmmakers Sudhir Mishra, Kundan Shah, and Saeed Mirza. He then worked for Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions, the production companies owned by the late Yash Johar, the father of Karan Johar.
In 1994, Advani helped Saeed and Aziz Mirza direct Naya Nukkad, which marked the beginning of his career. His debut as a co-screenwriter for Iss Raat Ki Subah Nahin (1996) received positive reviews.
